um|setzen

to implement, to put into practice, to relocate, to generate (turnover)

((sth.)) to implement sth. We have to implement the plan.

Synonyms: realisieren (to realize), verwirklichen (to bring to fruition), durchführen (to carry out).

From `um-` (around, re-) + `setzen` (to set, place). Literally 'to place around' or 'to re-set'. This can mean moving something, or putting an idea into a new 'place' (reality).

Imagine taking a plan (that is 'set' on paper) and moving it 'around' (`um-`) into the real world to implement it.
